how we understand the enneagram

The Enneagram is not merely a personality Typing tool - it goes deeper than simply analyzing the patterns of behavior in a Type. It attempts to do that, but it first addresses the core inner beauty & motivations of each Type.

We see the Enneagram as a sacred map or pathway to the soul. It unveils our Original Essence which God designed in us from the beginning. We also call this our True Self.

We believe that the Enneagram is powerful because it highlights the sliver of God’s heart that we reflect the most.

The Enneagram holds up a mirror so we can see ourselves anew and see others with a fresh spirit of compassion, grace and patience.

The transformational journey as a whole must be led by God in His perfect timing. That includes the initial introduction to the Enneagram and each of the insights along the way.

The Enneagram is not meant to be used to “put people in a box”, stereotype or shame them. Rather, when used appropriately, the Enneagram frees us and shows us our unique True Self by "showing us the boxes that we are already in".

how we teach the enneagram

When it comes to the Enneagram, it’s safety first. We take a non-discriminatory, gentle and humble approach to teaching the Enneagram.

The Enneagram is about knowing ourselves. It’s about seeing ourselves rightly. Not with the end goal of ridding ourselves of the parts of ourselves we don’t like. Rather, it’s so that we can love all of ourselves and allow God to love all of us too. It's then that we're transformed by that love.

The Enneagram is a powerful contributor to unity through compassion. The Body of Christ is bonded together into a Family when we really see each other for who we are. Understanding each other's fear and brokenness moves us to compassion.

The Enneagram is a tool for greater mental, emotional and spiritual growth and freedom.
